Network Operations for CompTIA Network+ (N10-006)

by Ross Bagurdes

Jun 10, 2015 / 4h 33m

Beginner • 4h 33m

Start Course
Description

This course is the third in a Learning Path of six that covers the CompTIA Network+ certification exam. Network operations are literally the infrastructure that makes the Internet, or any network function. This infrastructure can come in the form of hardware, like PCs, tablets, and mobile phones, as well as switches, routers, and wireless access points, or servers and data centers. In addition to this hardware, there are also protocols and services used to allow users to retrieve information. This course will walk the viewer through the basic concepts of network operations, then examine Ethernet, both wired, and wireless, including VLANs, trunking, and routing. The course will wrap up with one of the most critical parts of network operations: network monitoring.
